It is illegal to be unsuccessful in this generation!!!

It is illegal to be unsuccessful in this generation!!! I have taken the risk of sounding like a braggart in writing this article because I want you to be successful, enjoy… Our fore parents committed so many errors during the course of life because they were deprived of so many things needed for successful living. I sometimes smile and exclaim: “they did well!! Some kept their resources underground, some in their bed rooms for years, some lost their resources through unforeseen phenomenon like fire outbreaks and many more. In our generation you have no excuse not to be successful since nature has provided you with all the needed resources. Fish them out!! In the year 2012, a financial institution in a certain area    made me stay longer in the banking institution whenever I wish to withdraw my own money which made me lost interest in savings and investment. But now you can sit in your house and transfer money to your bank account, with easy withdrawal as well

Unleash your greatness!!!

Unleash your greatness!!! I have always said it and will say it again, there is no one in the entire universe exactly like you and you think you are small. Yes, that is how God created you; very different and unique from everyone and impacted into you greatness. Most at times the only thing that prevent us from identifying our greatness is the lack of self- confidence. Unfortunately, So many people doubt everything including themselves- what they are capable of doing. “People with low self-confidence often think of themselves in very critical ways such as I’m not good enough, I’m a failure, or I’ll not amount to anything” said Dr. Kofi Osei- kusi in one of his books, ‘the power of self-confidence’. Dear reader, why those thoughts? Enough is enough. Thanks to whoever developed this concept of the ideal self (how you would ideally like to be). I believe my future is bright and I hope this applies to you as well. Yes, our future is bright, so strive harder t

You just have to start

You just have to start Dedication: to #Gyimah Nana Danso, a friend and an aviation student at Ghana maritime University. “Daniel where did you learn to write like this, I wonder, where did you get your inspiration aside God, I am proud of you”. These were the very words of Nana Danso after having read one of my articles titled ‘Article SHS 1-4, life is not a fun fair’ whom I have dedicated this article to. “Ha-ha, glory to God, you can even do more than this, you just have to start ”. Yes, that was the only response I could give out and I believe that is the right answer for this current generation.   Someone put it: “a journey of thousand miles begins with a step” . Yeah, you really need to get started in order to get things moving. This implies that, as long as you stay idle all things remain stagnant. Unfortunately the society is bedeviled with words like: you can’t make it, you are too small, you are from a poor background and the lik

Oxymoron!!!

Oxymoron!!! When people start pretending life is oxymoron- Daniel Odoi. Oxymoron are two words that contradict each other example sinful saint, good devil, cruel kindness, abundant poverty etc. According to the Holy Bible, Job was a righteous man. His life became miserable when God gave Satan the permit to tempt him. In the course of tempting him, Satan killed Job's children, took away his riches and devastated Job's health.   The life of Job’s three friends (Eliphaz, Bildad and Zophar) was oxymoron when he faced this catastrophic situation.   In summary, you just listen to how one of his pretending friends (Eliphaz) presented his case with the notion of consoling him: “you will come to the grave in full vigor, like sheaves gathered in season. We have examined this, and it is true. So hear it and apply it to yourself” (Job 5:26-27). Are you disappointed by the actions of people you trusted the most? Like Job who was not moved by the actions of his b

Keep it up!!!

Keep it up!!! Dedication: To Miss Mariama Sulemana, a member of the Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA), UCC, Ghana who completed not long ago. In the junior and senior high schools of my country, a student who usually scores good marks in examinations is accorded with the statement ‘keep it up’.   These words are very powerful and really motivational when one takes time to think about it carefully. Unfortunately So many people took these words for granted in those days because maybe they couldn’t analyses it critically. To confess, I personally took it for granted too until Miss Mariama motivated me with these words when my first article was published. In fact, there was a particular message I wanted to deliver to a certain category of people which has been fulfilled. But here am I being trapped with the words ‘keep it up’. Well, let me keep it up until I have nothing to write. Dear reader never forget these powerful words in your life. In your

When the game is over

When the game is over  As a person, some events of life keep me in the classroom of lessons. One of such is the passing on of mankind; you will not live forever. The world is filled with evils, lies, pain and death and you can’t hide from it, you can only face it. Sorry, I don’t intend to make you sad but that is the reality. Ha-ha, rejoice! There are good things too, through Christ Jesus our Lord, if you don’t have him seek for him. In fact, Life is a journey not so much to a destination, there are no winners and there are no losers. Frankly speaking, the person you may recognize useless today might be the one to help you out tomorrow. So you see, who won?   I personally believe victory should be counted by the number of lives saved, your impact to the society and the legacy you leave behind. Dear reader, what have you done for your generation? After a football match it is obvious for spectators to tell who performed well and who did not,

What you greet every morning!!!

What you greet every morning!!! After careful consideration I have come to the realization that, what you think about early morning is very crucial to your entire life throughout the day. The thought of some past mistake alone can ruin your entire day. Sometimes I hear people say “something I just remembered has really spoil my day”. In his book titled ‘Good morning, Holy Spirit’ , Pastor Benny Hinn narrated how he deliberately and consciously had a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit to the extent of greeting him every morning he wakes up. What do you greet every morning? Is it some past mistakes, failures, sorrow, bitterness and the like? Enough of those thoughts! Such is life; you are prone to failures and setbacks. We have to make our own mistakes and learn our own lessons. Get the courage today and fill your mind with issues of prosperity, success, joy and freedom every morning. And when you’re asked the secret of your progress, tell them w

ARTICLE SHS 1-4; LIFE IS NOT A FUN FAIR!!!

ARTICLE SHS 1-4; LIFE IS NOT A FUN FAIR!!! There is a purpose for everything under the universe. The sun shines to provide light during the day likewise the moon during the night. Though both of them provides light, they don’t wait for each other before producing the needed light. During my senior high school days, there used to be an annual program called ‘fun fair’ where colleagues from several schools all over the country come together to have fun with friends through entertainment(I don’t know if it is still organized). Other colleagues also ‘just’ accompany their friends, hang around and go back at the end of the program without accomplishing any task. Thus they wouldn’t have gone but for following their friends’ sake; achieving nothing, nothing at all... Unfortunately so many people live their lives as if they are accompanying their friends on this planet. They are always ready to go anywhere. Today they are here. Tomorrow, there. One day
