You can also make it!!!

You can also make it!!!
Whenever I wish to undertake an activity, I look at it on the basis of how it could be achieved in this generation and compare it to how the same activity was performed some years back. In fact I have realized that in the current generation everything has been made very simple especially through the use of the internet. Every opportunity that emerges in any part of the world can be made known to you at any time provided you make yourself available and put in little effort.

Nature has provided you with all the things and resources needed to be successful in life, it is now incumbent on you to fish out those resources and put them to use for the betterment of your life. Your inabilities to fish out those resources make you think it’s very difficult to succeed, not to suggest being successful is on a silver platter.  Like Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said, “The heights great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but, they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night.” My intention is to make you understand that you can also make it in life so strive harder towards achieving your set goals.

Keep it up!!!

Keep it up!!! Dedication: To Miss Mariama Sulemana, a member of the Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA), UCC, Ghana who completed not long ago. In the junior and senior high schools of my country, a student who usually scores good marks in examinations is accorded with the statement ‘keep it up’.   These words are very powerful and really motivational when one takes time to think about it carefully. Unfortunately So many people took these words for granted in those days because maybe they couldn’t analyses it critically. To confess, I personally took it for granted too until Miss Mariama motivated me with these words when my first article was published. In fact, there was a particular message I wanted to deliver to a certain category of people which has been fulfilled. But here am I being trapped with the words ‘keep it up’. Well, let me keep it up until I have nothing to write. Dear reader never forget these powerful words in your life. In your

When the game is over

When the game is over  As a person, some events of life keep me in the classroom of lessons. One of such is the passing on of mankind; you will not live forever. The world is filled with evils, lies, pain and death and you can’t hide from it, you can only face it. Sorry, I don’t intend to make you sad but that is the reality. Ha-ha, rejoice! There are good things too, through Christ Jesus our Lord, if you don’t have him seek for him. In fact, Life is a journey not so much to a destination, there are no winners and there are no losers. Frankly speaking, the person you may recognize useless today might be the one to help you out tomorrow. So you see, who won?   I personally believe victory should be counted by the number of lives saved, your impact to the society and the legacy you leave behind. Dear reader, what have you done for your generation? After a football match it is obvious for spectators to tell who performed well and who did not,

GHANA BEYOND AID: REFINING THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

GHANA BEYOND AID: REFINING THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM The idea of Ghana beyond aid is a laudable idea by the government which demands total rearrangement in almost all levels of our national institutions. The educational system cannot be left out when talking about a nation ‘beyond aid’. We need educational system that promises to tackle issues that impede national development – an educational system that will assure its citizens of adequate knowledge and requisite skills READILY NEEDED for harnessing national growth (emphasis capitalized). We need a school system, starting from the junior high school as well as the senior high level, which will enable our young ones to gain grounds to compete with global economy. In that case the nation wouldn’t employ the service of foreigners for our nation, from basic service delivery to Construction works. I hope this is not new because it is a common place to hear of such things as the employment of foreign aid for  our developments, I believe
