Stop stressing the ‘I know’!!! The adage “action speaks better than words” is very popular and known by several people. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the lives of many. They live their lives in such a way that others will be aware of what they claim to know; whilst they know not. Pitiful!! In the recent past , I overheard a young guy discussing   what he intend to do after he had completed the senior high school as if he knew everything about it, on the basis of how he used to say it. However some very little interrogation I made with him revealed he had no idea   what he was talking about.   Not to suggest you need not to discuss or share your ideas. My intention is to make you explore for more knowledge. You don’t have to make noise for people to know what you are capable of doing. So if you know, do it! The loose-loose-game; unwinnable scenario!!! Couple of years ago, I witnessed a game between a young girl and her elder sister. In this game, a stone is hidden in one palm of the sister, the hand is sent back and the stone left on a chair without the kid’s knowledge. The two hands are brought forward again simultaneously and the kid is asked to guess which hand contains the stone. She never got any of the chances right because the stone is in neither of the two palms. I call this game ‘the loose-loose-game’ . It is an unwinnable scenario! Some youths instead of striving harder towards achieving their set goals, have entrusted their future in the hands of some families and friends who they thought will assist them in the course of their lives. Unfortunately some of these relatives do not carry them to their desired destination. In the long run, they only give ‘tangible’ excuses whenever they are approached. Don’t let them in!!! Life is a journey and there are so many people you will meet in the course of the journey. However, your character tells who remains. As the popular saying goes, the people you meet whilst climbing the mountain are the same people you meet when descending. There are so many good people, so if you can’t find one, try to be one yourself. Think!  Unfortunately there are others who will never fit no matter how you treat them. You might try all your possible best to treat them well. If you don’t help they will complain, even if you help they will still complain, and many more. After you have checked yourself, when this happens never mind, such is life; sometimes the only answer is there is no answer. The shoulders of giants!!! According to the bible, zacchaeus ‘the short’ was a notorious tax collector. He cheated the people of his time by collecting taxes which exceeded the required amount. His life changed tremendously and became a good Christian after his encounter with Christ the messiah. This divine transformation took place after he had climbed the sycamore-fig tree to see Christ; he saw afar. Unfortunately so many individuals are comfortably sitting in their situations thinking all hope is lost. Meanwhile, the life of some successful personalities like Dr. Opoku Onyina, Dr. Mensa Otabil, Prophet Kakra Baiden and many others is wealthy of emulation.
