ARTICLE SHS 1-4; LIFE IS NOT A FUN FAIR!!!

There is a purpose for everything under the universe. The sun shines to provide light during the day likewise the moon during the night. Though both of them provides light, they don’t wait for each other before producing the needed light. During my senior high school days, there used to be an annual program called ‘fun fair’ where colleagues from several schools all over the country come together to have fun with friends through entertainment(I don’t know if it is still organized). Other colleagues also ‘just’ accompany their friends, hang around and go back at the end of the program without accomplishing any task. Thus they wouldn’t have gone but for following their friends’ sake; achieving nothing, nothing at all...

Unfortunately so many people live their lives as if they are accompanying their friends on this planet. They are always ready to go anywhere. Today they are here. Tomorrow, there. One day they are involved in this, the next time it is something else. Why? It’s very simple, they don’t know their destination, and hence any road will lead them. Beloved, LIFE IS NOT A FUN FAIR so get up, identify your purpose and work towards achieving your set goals. Nothing is too late!!!

When the game is over

When the game is over As a person, some events of life keep me in the classroom of lessons. One of such is the passing on of mankind; you will not live forever. The world is filled with evils, lies, pain and death and you can’t hide from it, you can only face it. Sorry, I don’t intend to make you sad but that is the reality. Ha-ha, rejoice! There are good things too, through Christ Jesus our Lord, if you don’t have him seek for him. In fact, Life is a journey not so much to a destination, there are no winners and there are no losers. Frankly speaking, the person you may recognize useless today might be the one to help you out tomorrow. So you see, who won? Keep it up!!! Dedication: To Miss Mariama Sulemana, a member of the Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA), UCC, Ghana who completed not long ago. In the junior and senior high schools of my country, a student who usually scores good marks in examinations is accorded with the statement ‘keep it up’. These words are very powerful and really motivational when one takes time to think about it carefully. Unfortunately So many people took these words for granted in those days because maybe they couldn’t analyses it critically. To confess, I personally took it for granted too until Miss Mariama motivated me with these words when my first article was published. In fact, there was a particular message I wanted to deliver to a certain category of people which has been fulfilled. But here am I being trapped with the words ‘keep it up’. Start work!!!

Start work!!! In the examination room, there are certain rules you need to follow. One of such rules is to wait patiently until you are told to start work. Sometimes some students don’t start on time because they couldn’t pay careful attention when the siren was rang for starting work or were even paying attention but couldn’t hear the announcement, leading to poor performance. All I am saying is there are rules and you are obliged to follow them. This applies to the journey of life as well; there are rules and you need to follow them: you really need to get started in order to get things moving. The Law of Cause and Effect states that everything happens for a reason; there is a cause for every effect. This implies that, as long as you stay idle all things remain stagnant.
