Don’t be a spectator!!!
In a football match, there are a lot of people who goes to enjoy the fund of the game and cheer their funds up; they are spectators! Meaning they do not actually play a specific role in the game itself. There has never been a history in the entire universe where a spectator has been awarded the best player in a competition, and it will never ever happen. Spectators can jump, scream the most, paint themselves in the colours of their team and many more, but they will never receive the crown as best players. Why? It’s very simple they are just spectators, spectators and spectators.

Unfortunately so many people are spectators everywhere; on Facebook, WhatsApp, twitter, name them. And the sad aspect of it is, they still want to apply the same concept in the real world; doing nothing, nothing at all. Beloved make good use of every opportunity and don’t be a spectator because spectators never win.

The shoulders of giants!!! According to the bible, zacchaeus ‘the short’ was a notorious tax collector. He cheated the people of his time by collecting taxes which exceeded the required amount. His life changed tremendously and became a good Christian after his encounter with Christ the messiah. This divine transformation took place after he had climbed the sycamore-fig tree to see Christ; he saw afar. Unfortunately so many individuals are comfortably sitting in their situations thinking all hope is lost. Meanwhile, the life of some successful personalities like Dr. Opoku Onyina, Dr. Mensa Otabil, Prophet Kakra Baiden and many others is wealthy of emulation. The loose-loose-game; unwinnable scenario!!!

The loose-loose-game; unwinnable scenario!!! Couple of years ago, I witnessed a game between a young girl and her elder sister. In this game, a stone is hidden in one palm of the sister, the hand is sent back and the stone left on a chair without the kid’s knowledge. The two hands are brought forward again simultaneously and the kid is asked to guess which hand contains the stone. She never got any of the chances right because the stone is in neither of the two palms. I call this game ‘the loose-loose-game’ . It is an unwinnable scenario! Some youths instead of striving harder towards achieving their set goals, have entrusted their future in the hands of some families and friends who they thought will assist them in the course of their lives. Unfortunately some of these relatives do not carry them to their desired destination. In the long run, they only give ‘tangible’ excuses whenever they are approached.
