You just have to start

You just have to start

Dedication: to #Gyimah Nana Danso, a friend and an aviation student at Ghana maritime University.
“Daniel where did you learn to write like this, I wonder, where did you get your inspiration aside God, I am proud of you”. These were the very words of Nana Danso after having read one of my articles titled ‘Article SHS 1-4, life is not a fun fair’ whom I have dedicated this article to. “Ha-ha, glory to God, you can even do more than this, you just have to start”. Yes, that was the only response I could give out and I believe that is the right answer for this current generation.
Someone put it: “a journey of thousand miles begins with a step”. Yeah, you really need to get started in order to get things moving. This implies that, as long as you stay idle all things remain stagnant. Unfortunately the society is bedeviled with words like: you can’t make it, you are too small, you are from a poor background and the like. Beloved, forget about those words. In fact, you are a potential genius, what are your dreams today?
Announcement: Dear reader, Nature has provided us with all the resources necessary to make your dreams a reality, you just have to start and success will come your way.

…..Daniel Odoi©…..

GHANA BEYOND AID: REFINING THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

GHANA BEYOND AID: REFINING THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM The idea of Ghana beyond aid is a laudable idea by the government which demands total rearrangement in almost all levels of our national institutions. The educational system cannot be left out when talking about a nation ‘beyond aid’. We need educational system that promises to tackle issues that impede national development – an educational system that will assure its citizens of adequate knowledge and requisite skills READILY NEEDED for harnessing national growth (emphasis capitalized). We need a school system, starting from the junior high school as well as the senior high level, which will enable our young ones to gain grounds to compete with global economy. In that case the nation wouldn’t employ the service of foreigners for our nation, from basic service delivery to Construction works. I hope this is not new because it is a common place to hear of such things as the employment of foreign aid for  our developments, I bel...

Start work!!!

Start work!!!   In the examination room, there are certain rules you need to follow. One of such rules is to wait patiently until you are told to start work. Sometimes some students don’t start on time because they couldn’t pay careful attention when the siren was rang for starting work or were even paying attention but couldn’t hear the announcement, leading to poor performance. All I am saying is there are rules and you are obliged to follow them. This applies to the journey of life as well; there are rules and you need to follow them:   you really need to get started in order to get things moving. The Law of Cause and Effect states that everything happens for a reason; there is a cause for every effect.   This implies that, as long as you stay idle all things remain stagnant. Unfortunately so many people are comfortably siting, standing or even lying down on their own way to success, thinking someone will pull them with a rope to their destination. Belo...
